Speak-Le parole non dette. In libreria il cofanetto libro + dvd

E’ uscito da pochi giorni nelle librerie il libro Speak - Le parole non dette di Laurie Halse Anderson di cui esiste anche il film, interpretato dalla bella di Twilight Kristen Stewart. Il libro è infatti un libro cult del 1999 che adesso l’editore Giunti, sull’onda del successo dei protagonosti di Twilight, ripropone in un cofanetto libro più dvd (prezzo 19,90 euro).

Protagonista del libro ( e del film ) è Melinda Sordino, tredici anni, tanti sogni di ragazzina e un segreto. Un segreto di quelli che purtroppo (anzi per fortuna) non tutti hanno. L’estate prima di entrare al liceo, durante una festa, viene violentata da uno dei ragazzi più popolari della scuola.

Sconvolta, Melinda chiama la polizia che fa irruzione durante la festa scatenando un fuggi fuggi generale nel quale rimane coinvolta anche Melinda la quale non riesce a confessrae la violenza subita. Quando pochi giorni dopo le amiche di Melinda scoprono che è stata lei a chiamare la polizia e a rovinare il party, non pensano a chiederle spiegazioni al riguardo, ma la maltrattano e smettono addirittura di salutarla. Melinda si isola e comincia ad avere difficoltà a parlare sia a scuola che a casa. Fino a che… In allegato il film in lingua originale con sottotitoli in italiano e inglese. Il film e il libro vengono oggi riproposti e promettono già di conquistare migliaia di teenager. Intanto, in attesa di rivedere Kristen in New Moon, l’appuntamento è in tutte le librerie.

Libro meglio del film, secondo me. Troppo complicata a livello emotivo la testa di Melinda. In ogni caso è stato reso bene, cosa piuttosto rara. Ottimo cofanetto.

Il tema è forte, ma è narrato in maniera ironica e interessantissima. Il libro è in prima persona il che, è vero, rende il film di difficile riproposizione, ma sono convinta che la regista abbia fatto un buon lavoro. Mi sono piaciuti entrambi molto.
