Era il 25 Giugno 2009 quando moriva un uomo, e nasceva un mito. Esce di “scena” uno dei più grandi artisti dei nostri tempi, e contemporaneamente cominciano a riaffiorare e a nascere opere tributo di qualsiasi tipo, dai libri ai film ai video inediti. E a breve arriverà l’opera forse più maestosa, il libro per così dire ufficiale, sul re del pop.

Il libro uscirà negli Stati Uniti. Un’opera pregiata di 400 pagine, prezzo a partire da 165 dollari a copia. Rilegata in cuoio e con custodia in seta, l’opera uscira’ dall’editore Kraken Opus il 7 dicembre col titolo The Official Michael Jackson Opus. Prenotabile su michaeljacksonopus.com, michaeljackson.com e sul circuito Ticketmaster, è un’opera soprattutto fotografica, con testi, poesie e testimonianze di celebrita’. Nell’opera sono inclusi filmati esclusivi.

Un libro dai contenuti straordinari in una forma straordinaria per ripercorrere le fasi più significative della vita artistica e privata di uno degli uomini più amati, odiati, controversi e idolatrati che la storia della musica abbia mai avuto.

Per la traduzione italiana bisognerà attendere un pò. Intanto per tutti i fan ricordiamo che sono disponibili nelle librerie tre libri su “Jacko” usciti dopo la sua morte, Michael Jackson.Troppo grande per una vita sola, Michael Jackson. L’uomo nello specchio e Michael Jackson 1958-2009.

Negli Usa sarà disponibile in libreria a partire da Dicembre. Credo poi,che nel giro di pochi mesi,trattandosi di un libro con molte foto, sarà disponibile tradotto anche in Italia,e probabimente anche in una versione più economica (senza cofanetto in seta). Appena ci sono news a riguardo ti terremo aggiornata.
